Spanish Lessons In The Jungle
Day 1.- Leaving Quito at night to arrive in Coca Monday morning (by bus).
Day 2.- Lunch. Spanish lessons and dinner. Night excursion to observe insects, night active rodents, reptiles and much more, and to listen to the nocturnal concert of the jungle.
Day 3.- Breakfast. Canoe- trip to the Manduro- Lagoon and walk on the hiking trail with the same name to observe the vegetation, water birds and keys for “chontillas” and “anturios” where bird colonies and nests have been established as well. Lunch. Spanish lessons. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 4.- Breakfast. Departure to a 3-hour adventure- hike. We cross the jungle and observe a huge number of medical plants, which are used by the native people. It is possible to see parrots, parakeets, toucans and all the over exciting animals which inhabit the area. Lunch in the lodge. Spanish lessons. Dinner. Night journey in small boats (piraguas) on Yuturi River.
Day 5.- Breakfast. Trip where we will visit a birdwatching-tower and undertake another short hike. Lunch. Spanish lessons. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 6.- Visit a native family to learn about their customs, and to buy some handicrafts. After lunch, return to Coca and Quito.
The itinerary can be modified due to weather conditions, teacher or guide in the best interest of our clients.
Individuals lessons: $ 550
Group lessons: $450 (max. 4students)
Spanish lessons: 20 lessons
